Giffnock Orthodontic Centre is a long-established practice with a modern and welcoming approach to patient care.

We help patients from across the UK to achieve a more uniform and confident smile using the very latest braces and techniques.

Our experienced orthodontists and friendly team are delighted to welcome patients who require braces to our southside of Glasgow practice. If you have been referred by your dentist it’s very easy to find us, just minutes from Glasgow Airport, public transport and major motorway links.

We are a specialist orthodontist practice in Glasgow. To find your nearest dental practice offering general dental care please visit the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde website.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm. We are also open on Saturdays and Bank Holidays (except in December and January).

Should you have a dental emergency outside of the practice opening hours, please contact your orthodontist directly or call National Health Service (NHS 24) on 111 who will be able to assist you. This is an out of hours service provided by the NHS.

We endeavour to see all patients and our practice has been designed so patients with disabilities can access orthodontic care. We have a ramp at the rear of the building for wheelchair access and ground floor surgeries. If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about please give us a call before your appointment and we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs.

We accept the following methods of payment: cash and most major credit and debit cards. Please note we do not accept American Express credit cards or cheques.

Any orthodontic treatment carried out is required to be paid for on the day of your appointment. For full details of NHS charges and our private fees, please visit our fees page. For further information on exemptions, please contact us for more information.

Missing appointments wastes valuable clinical time and resources which are needed for other patients. Patients who miss an appointment will be charged £20 which should be paid prior to further appointments being made. We ask that you give us at least two working days’ notice when cancelling any appointments.

Should you require an interpreting service please call 0141 347 8811 stating which language you require an interpreter for, the time, duration and location of your appointment.

We aim to make your experience at the practice as pleasurable as possible. However, should you have any complaints or comments, please contact us on 0141 638 4150 or at info@giffnockorthodontic.com so that we will be able to deal with your complaint and talk you through our procedure. Alternatively, you can request a copy of the complaints procedure using the above phone number or email address.

We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously at Giffnock Orthodontic Centre and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. All our patient records are securely stored at our practice to ensure that any patient information is only accessed as part of your treatment. No information will ever be released to a third party without your permission or where required by law. We have a strict confidentiality practice policy.
